GOTR receives grant award from Run Wichita!
Girls on the Run is pleased to announce that it has received a generous grant from Run Wichita. This funding will support the organization’s mission to inspire and empower girls through programs that promote confidence, healthy habits, and essential life skills.
The grant will enable Girls on the Run to expand program accessibility, provide scholarships for participants, and enhance the overall experience for girls in the community. Through this partnership, more young girls will have the opportunity to develop self-confidence, embrace challenges, and achieve both personal and physical milestones.
“Run Wichita’s support is instrumental in helping us continue our work empowering girls to reach their full potential,” said Christy Thomas, Executive Director of Girls on the Run Heart of Kansas. “We are deeply grateful for their commitment to youth development and to the well-being of our community.”
Girls on the Run thanks Run Wichita for their generous support and for investing in the next generation of confident, resilient, and capable young women.
