On Sunday, May 5th almost 400 girls from 28 schools, and community sites met in Downtown Wichita to cross the finish line at the GOTR 5K. Their running buddies, and families joined them to celebrate their last 8 weeks of learning life skills such as managing emotions, resolving conflict, helping others and making intentional decisions. Throughout the season the girls also trained to finish the 5K. 

Over 100 volunteer coaches, many of them teachers inspired girls to activate their limitless potential this season. Throughout this experience, they built friendships, gained empathy and supported  eachother every step of the way. Each of our teams also participated in a community service project where they donated their time and talents to causes that were meaningful to them.

Our Fall 2024 season will begin the week of September 23rd, with registration opening on July 22nd. If you are interested in bringing GOTR to your school, or community center contact us! We love to visit schools, speak with your admin teams, PTO's and hold assemblies for students.
