GOTR Heart of Kansas Celebrates “SoleMates” as they prepare for Every Woman’s Marathon while raising critical funds for local girls!

Seven Women. 26.2 Miles. ONE Vision. On November 16^th, a group of seven “SoleMates” are joining Girls on the Run Heart of Kansas to embark on a journey to complete the Every Woman’s Marathon in Scottsdale, Arizona. We are proud to recognize them, not only for the time they have devoted to training for this endurance event, but for each of their “Why’s”. Each of these SoleMates have also committed to raising at least $1,500 to support GOTR Heart of Kansas. These critical funds will stay right here in our council to impact girls for seasons to come. This will help to further our reach within the community, making GOTR accessible to more girls in South Central Kansas, providing scholarship opportunities for girls, new running shoes for those in need, healthy snacks for teams, as well as new curriculum and materials necessary to train our dedicated volunteer coaches.
